This was a small branding project was for a new plumbing business. The name "Oakum" refers to the traditional way of sealing pipes by stuffing the joints with tar-soaked rope called oakum. I wanted a little nod to that rope in the logomark as well as the name, so I wrapped it in it. I also took advantage of the circular "O" to make an almost Yin and Yang dripping plumbing pipe combined with heating pipe and flame.
